This decision overrode an earlier vote by members of the congregation in favour of ‘Option C’ which was to demolish the present church and manse and rebuild as a church and community centre together with residential accommodation. Work on ‘Option B’ will not start before March 2021. Full details are on display at the church.

Rev'd John Hayes on the anniversary week-end:
On behalf of everyone at Bethnal Green Methodist Church I want to say a big thank you to all those who helped in any way to make our 150th Anniversary Weekend a very special occasion.
I was really pleased to see so many people involved and having a great time in the glorious sunshine.
